Saturday 24th March was the Final of Miss/Mrs Violet Loves VIntage 2018. All 12 Finalists were invited to attend and much fun was had by all!

All the Finalists arrived dressed in their very best vintage attire - a mixture of 1940's and 1950's and both true vintage and retro. There was an amazing collection of prizes up for grabs so all the Finalists were incredibly keen to win!

The Prizes -

-A Year's Supply of dresses from Violet Loves Vintage, Afflecks, Manchester (1 dress per month for 12 months)

-A Year's Modelling Contract with Rogue Model Management

-A Photo Shoot & 2 free prints with Professional Photographer Allie Crewe

-A bespoke hair flower or fascinator from Peacock Pretties

-A Coconut Hand Bag from Tiki-Lou Hawaii

We started the afternoon with a Prosecco Reception, then we were entertained by Carrie-Anne, the most fabulous vintage style singer. Then the judging started! Each Finalist met with the panel of Judges for an individual informal interview. The Judging panel consisted of Madame Von Shamrock - a Pin Up model, Haili-Leanne Hughes - Deputy Editor of Vintage Life Magazine, Sue Rogers - Head of Rogue Model Management and Allie Crewe, a professional photographer.

Points were given by each Judge and after all the Finalists had had their turn the points were tallied up and the results were in!

Winner - Lois Barnett
Runner Up's - Elaine Stott and Katherine Allen

As winners, Lois, Elaine and Katherine all won free dresses and so had fun choosing. Lois chose a Banned Apparel Vanity dress plus a Hell Bunny Aggie Scottie Dog dress while Katherine went for a Hell Bunny Tulip dress and Elaine chose a Hell Bunny pink cardigan. We finished the day with more Prosecco and cupcakes and the consensus was it had been a fabulous day!

Our next live music event will be on Saturday 28th April - It will be a Marilyn Monroe themed afternoon with music by Izzy Bella.
